In 2007, the subsidiary in Bulgaria was transformed into a commercial import company under the name Karelia Bulgaria EOOD, and then its subsidiary GK Distributors EOOD was established. In 2008, a subsidiary called Karelia Tütün ve Tiçaret AS was founded in Turkey. Today Karelia Tobacco Company has offices throughout Greece and spreads its brands into a retail network covering more than 26,000 points of sale. The current annual sales turnover is 876 million euros.
